MISS STEPHANIE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Miss Stephanie is the owner of Standing Room Only Studios, a fine arts studio focusing on dance, theatre, and cheer training.  She is a choreographer, dance educator, and cheer coach.  Stephanie has worked with New York City Dance Alliance, Onstage New York, Young Champions of America, The Wildwood Junior Warriors Rec Cheer Program, and is the former director of the Union Township Pop Warner Cheer Program. 

Miss Stephanie studied Fine Arts & Criminal Justice at Monmouth University. She holds certifications in Business Management, Business Operations & Marketing, and Accounting from Cornell University, the National Alliance of Youth Sports and National Youth Sports Coaches Association, the National Dance Teachers Association of America, the National Dance Council of America, US All Star Federation for Cheer and Dance Teams, AACCA/USA Cheer Certified Coach, Kinesiology with concentrations in corrective exercise and physiology, as well as CPR & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association. She is a member in good standing with the International Association of Professional Dance Studio Owners, the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science, & the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce. She is also a certified professional artist with the City of Peekskill, NY.

Miss Stephanie has trained and worked with some of the best instructors and choreographers in the industry including Frank Hatchett (the “Doctor of Jazz”), Mia Michaels (world-renowned choreographer and SYTYCD judge), Joe Lanteri (Executive Director of NYCDA ), Andy Blankenbuehler (three-time Tony Award Winner), Chloe Arnold (Emmy-nominated choreographer and creator of Syncopated Ladies) and Alexandra Damiani (most recent work on 2019 BET Awards/Cardi B performance alongside Tanisha Scott, former director of Cedar Lake Ballet & Peridance Faculty member).  Miss Stephanie has also worked with many artists from the Joffrey Ballet, the Ailey School, Julliard School, and Broadway

 

Miss Eileen, Ballet & Tap Instructor

Miss Eileen has been dancing for over 60 years. She has successfully managed dance programs and studios throughout New Jersey on the both the front and back ends and brings her knowledge, education, and talents to SRO’s newest location. Miss Eileen has participated in theatre productions for decades and enjoys not only taking the stage but working behind the scenes where the magic is made. Her main focus is teaching and training our mini dancers in proper technique, execution, and vocabulary so that they are prepared to advance to other skill levels. She attended both Rutgers and Stockton University for liberal arts and theatre education.

Coach Bryn, Cheer Coach

Coach Bryn is so excited to join the SRO team! Born and raised in Philadelphia, she has just relocated to West Wildwood. Starting cheerleading at age six, into high school, and transitioning to coaching cheerleading after college, Coach Bryn has been in love with cheerleading for over twenty years! She can’t wait to teach and grow with all of the students at SRO Studios

Miss Adriana, Jazz & Lyrical Instructor

Miss Adriana, also known as Miss Ana for short has been dancing for about 15 years and has competed regionally and nationally in her younger years. Dancing opened many doors for her and allowed her to attend shows, auditions, and workshops where she was able to meet people such as Molly Gray from “Teen Beach Movie.” After competing, she attended Atlantic County Institute of Technology studying performing arts with a concentration in dance. Throughout high school she was able to gain even more knowledge and performed in all school performances. Her favorite disciplines include Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary but she enjoys teaching all type of dance and is always learning from well-seasoned instructors in the business. Dancing has always been an incredible outlet for her and she is so happy to bring her love to her students.

Miss Katie, Jazz & Hip Hop

Miss Katie originated in Edison, NJ where she found her passion for dancing at 5 years old. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia at 7 years old and pursued her dance career. 

She started training in ballet, and hip-hop classes and was self-taught in Latin dances. As she enrolled in dance classes in her high school, she trained and performed Jazz, Hip Hop, and Latin Dances in the school's theatre.  At age 17 Miss Katie became a Dance Teacher in Hip Hop All Stars and taught ages 4-14 Hip Hop Classes. Miss Katie specializes in Dance genres such as Hip Hop, Salsa, Samba, Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton and R&B. She is in love with dance it is her true passion, it enlightens her soul with extreme happiness. She has a fiery passion for performing, freestyling, teaching, and entertaining people around the world. 

Coach Kayan, Cheer Coach

Coach Kayan has been coaching cheer since her college days where she was a cheerleader at both the Fashion Institute of Technology & Baruch in NYC. She has been the head coach for the Mill Basin Brooklyn Mariners and the Staten Island Hurricanes where she took her squad to the National American Youth Cheerleading Championships in Orlando. Now that she lives in New Jersey with her husband & 3 kids, she is the proud cheer mom and coach for her daughter’s town flag cheer team as well as the SRO All Star team. Outside of coaching, Kayan works full time in fashion buying.

Miss Kelly, Yoga Instuctor

Miss Kelly is a new resident of Cape May, New Jersey. She is a lifelong athlete and has a love for the arts. Miss Kelly was an Art Major in High School where she was able to participate in set design for plays. She was a General Manager for a local South Jersey Theatre and was in charge of the summer camp. She is a college professor and a K-12 substitute teacher. Miss Kelly has participated in sports her whole life and recently became a certified Yoga instructor. Miss Kelly is passionate about learning and growing through creativity and movement. A positive environment and encouraging atmosphere make the biggest difference and that is what Miss Kelly cultivates with every class. She is so excited to meet everyone and teach at SRO! Smile, laugh and grow!


Miss Caelyn,

Contemporary & Workshop Instructor

Baltimore-based instructor, Miss Caelyn has been dancing for 10 years and still enjoys performing. Miss Caelyn teaches hip hop and contemporary workshops at SRO Studios. Her classes are always fun and innovative.

Miss Allison, Starlight Program Manager

Miss Allison is the proud mom of two SRO Studios cheerleaders and dancers! She has been in the stands supporting the SRO team since the studio was founded, and working alongside Miss Stephanie since 2015 with other performing arts ventures. Allison is the go to person for any questions that may come up, especially when classes are in session. Miss Allison also serves as a board member of Spectrum All Stars, a 501c3 organization supporting the autism community and their families. One of the many resources of the organization is providing recreational activities to the special needs community. With Miss Stephanie's support, Allison developed a partnership between Spectrum All Stars and SRO which resulted in the creation of Starlights, a dance and cheer program for the special needs community. Allison also secured a partnership with a local gymnastics studio to further develop the cheerleaders' tumbling and stunting skills in preparation for competition season. Miss Allison's daughter, Courtney, is a Starlight, and is so happy to join her big sister and Cheer Captain Madison and the SRO family.
